Hi, I'm Tim.

I make games I actually want to play.
I started Sunlit Game Studio because I wanted to make games that feel like places — warm, lived-in, and real.
I'm drawn to simulation and systems: the way small rules create big emergent moments. IceAgeLife is the first game I'm building here, and it's the most personal project I've worked on.
I'm doing this solo, learning as I go. That's the honest version.
About me
I started Sunlit on a simple belief: games should be warm, inviting, and systems-driven. I'm not interested in dopamine loops or predatory monetization. I want to create spaces where players can relax, experiment, and tell their own stories.
My inspiration comes from the quiet moments in life — the morning sun hitting the kitchen table, the sound of rain against the window, the feeling of building something with your own hands.
What I Care About
Warmth
I prioritize cozy, inviting aesthetics and non-violent gameplay loops.
Depth
Simple on the surface, but driven by complex, emergent simulations underneath.
Respect
I respect players' time and intelligence. No dark patterns.
