Hangout Diary — Privacy Policy

Hangout Diary is made by Sunlit Game Studio. The app is built so that your diary stays yours: we run no server and receive none of your data.
What the app stores
The names, circles, hangout entries, notes, photos, places, birthdays, and settings you enter. This is stored on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, synced through your private iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit. Only you can access it; Sunlit Game Studio cannot.
Permissions (all optional)
- Contacts: to import people you choose into your Band. Contact data is copied into your diary only for the people you select.
- Camera and Photos: to attach a photo to a hangout or a person.
- Location: when you take a photo, to remember where a hangout happened. It is never shared.
- Notifications: local reminders scheduled on your device, at most one a day.
- Sign in with Apple: used only to identify you on your device. We receive no name or email address.
What we don’t do
Hangout Diary has no analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party SDKs. We don’t sell or share your data.
Deleting your data
Delete entries in the app, or delete the app and remove its data in iCloud Settings (Manage Storage).
Children
Hangout Diary is not directed at children under 13.
