Old Feelings — Privacy Policy

Old Feelings is made by Sunlit Game Studio LLC. This policy explains how the app handles the check-ins you create and the choices you have about storing them.

Your check-ins

The app saves your check-ins on your device. A check-in may include feelings, intensity, selected needs, a reflection, and the date you record it. When iCloud storage is available and you choose it, the app also syncs your check-ins to your private iCloud data through Apple’s CloudKit service. We do not run a server that receives your check-ins, and support cannot view or recover them for you.

Entries saved only on a device may be included in that device’s backups, depending on your backup settings. Signing in with Apple alone does not back up or restore them. To see iCloud entries on another device, use the same iCloud account in device Settings and allow time for sync to finish. The iCloud account may differ from the account you use for Sign in with Apple.

Apple sign-in

Old Feelings uses Apple’s native sign-in to identify your app session. It saves the Apple user identifier and, if Apple provides it, your name in the device Keychain. The app does not retain Apple identity tokens or authorization codes. Sign in with Apple does not itself store or restore your check-ins.

Your storage choices

You can choose storage in the app’s Settings. A change takes effect the next time Old Feelings opens. Turning off iCloud stops future sync after that relaunch; it does not remove copies already in iCloud. Different iCloud accounts use separate local stores. Entries associated with one account are not automatically copied to another.

Deleting a check-in removes it from the current store. If iCloud sync is enabled, the deletion also reaches other devices using the same iCloud data after sync completes. Changes made offline wait for a connection. Signing out of Old Feelings clears the saved app sign-in on that device and leaves entries in place. Deleting an entry, signing out, and changing storage are separate actions.

Other data and services

Old Feelings has no advertising or tracking and does not send check-ins to Sunlit Game Studio. If you email support, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message so we can respond. The app links to this website for privacy and support; the website uses aggregated analytics and performance measurement as described in the site privacy policy.

Apple provides Sign in with Apple, iCloud, device backups, and App Store distribution. Apple’s handling of data in those services is described in Apple’s privacy policy.
