Remi — Support

Last updated: October 2, 2026

Remi turns conversations you choose to record into reviewable memories, to-dos, plans, and facts.

Need help or found a bug?

Email support@sunlitgamestudio.com with your device model, iOS version, Remi version, and the steps that led to the problem. Please leave private conversation content out of your message and screenshots.

How does listening work?

Start a session from inside Remi. Listening continues when you lock your phone, and you can stop it in the app or from the Live Activity on the Lock Screen. Remi never starts listening on its own.

Why are no memories appearing?

Allow microphone access in iPhone Settings and check that Apple Intelligence is available on your device. Speech assets download on first use. Stop your session when finished; review suggestions in the evening review on Home after your recall time, or in the next morning’s brief. You can change those times in Profile → Daily rhythm.

Where is my data?

Speech transcription and memory suggestions run on your device. iPhone listening sessions do not save audio recordings. Apple Watch thoughts use temporary audio files, transferred to your paired iPhone for on-device transcription; the iPhone removes the audio after processing succeeds. Transcripts expire after seven days. Your saved memories remain on your device, with an optional private iCloud backup of memories, to-dos, and facts.

How do Apple Watch thoughts reach my iPhone?

Tap Record a thought on Apple Watch. Remi queues the short recording and transfers it to the paired iPhone when available. The watch keeps it until the phone confirms receipt, and the phone can retry transcription if processing fails. Open Remi on your iPhone and keep the devices connected if a thought has not appeared yet.

How do I back up or restore?

Open Profile → iCloud backup and use Back up now. Your iPhone must be signed in to iCloud. Check that the backup succeeded before removing the app or changing devices. A backup can be restored after signing in to Remi again. Audio and transcripts are never included.

If a backup fails, your local data remains on your iPhone. Check your iCloud sign-in and network connection, then retry. If Remi finds a different cloud copy, review the choice carefully before replacing it.

How do I delete my data?

Profile → Privacy provides controls to forget recent memories, export data, or delete local data. To remove your local iPhone data, private iCloud backup, and saved Apple sign-in identifier together, use Profile → Account → Delete account. If cloud deletion cannot finish, follow the app’s retry instructions.
