Seven Places — Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Seven Places is made by Sunlit Game Studio LLC. This policy describes version 1.0 of the iOS app. It has no app accounts, Sign in with Apple or free-guide redemption.

Saved items and local data

Saved guides, saved places and app preferences are stored on your device. Seven Places does not upload your bookmarks to a studio server. Device backups may retain local app data according to your Apple backup settings.

Guide photos and offline downloads

All guide text and cover images are included in the app. Guide photos load on demand from Sunlit Game Studio’s image host at assets.sunlitgamestudio.com, operated through Cloudflare R2. Requests include the image address and network information such as your IP address so the host can deliver the file. Seven Places sends no account or user identifier, purchase history, bookmarks or cookies with image requests.

Cloudflare may retain delivery and security logs, including network information, under its Privacy Policy. Image requests are not guaranteed to disappear immediately after delivery.

For an owned guide, Download photos retains verified files on your device for offline reading. These downloads are stored in Application Support and excluded from device backups. You can remove downloaded photos from the guide page without removing guide text, bookmarks or purchases. Photos fetched during ordinary browsing use a temporary cache and may be removed to free space.

Purchases

Apple processes App Store payments. We do not receive your card or other payment details. Seven Places uses RevenueCat to check purchase ownership and restore non-consumable purchases.

RevenueCat processes purchase history and an anonymous, app-specific identifier, together with technical information used to operate its purchase service. Seven Places does not ask for your name or email address to make a purchase. The identifier is not your Apple Account password or email address.

Purchase records are used for purchase functionality, restoration and purchase analytics, including RevenueCat’s dashboard reporting. They can remain with Apple and RevenueCat after the app is deleted. Their retention and privacy practices are described in Apple’s Privacy Policy and RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.

Maps and external links

The app displays maps using Apple MapKit. Loading map content involves network requests to Apple. When you open directions in Apple Maps or Google Maps, the selected place’s destination information is passed to that service.

Opening an official website or sharing a place sends the selected link and, for sharing, place information to the destination you choose. Those services handle their own requests and information under their privacy practices.

Advertising and tracking

Seven Places contains no advertising and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising. Purchase-service processing, image delivery and map requests described above are part of normal app functionality.

Support enquiries

If you email us, we receive the email address, message and attachments you send. We use them to respond and investigate the issue, and retain correspondence as needed to resolve the enquiry and keep a reasonable support record. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details or other information unrelated to your question.

Your choices

You can remove bookmarks in the app. Deleting the app removes its local data from the device; it does not erase Apple or RevenueCat purchase records, support correspondence or copies in device backups. You can manage backups through your Apple settings.

For questions or requests about information you have sent us, email support@sunlitgamestudio.com. We may need enough information to identify the relevant support record.
